Disclaimer: I was sent the products mentioned in the post to facilitate the review, but no monetary compensation was received for sharing my experience. The post is informative and does not replace the opinion of your doctor or pharmacist, who are trained to answer any questions you may have regarding the vitamins you should take during pregnancy.
To my pregnancy is something very magical, even though it is far beyond glamorous. I say this because it is like our bodies are so focused on providing for the baby, that it forgets how to function for the mother, so you start aching, get super uncomfortable, and end with undesirable symptoms that leave us miserable and exhausted.
For some moms, expecting is just that, the game of waiting for the baby to arrive; for others, pregnancy means three trimesters full of surprises, changes, and especially feelings that they never had to deal with before. Now that I’m in the middle of my second pregnancy I can attest that no two are alike and that we must be prepared for absolutely anything, just because you never know.
In my case, prenatal vitamins are the pebble in my shoe. At first, I bought some organic and vegan capsules that got stuck halfway every time I tried to swallow them. I finished the bottle, but I honestly did not buy it again because my stomach did not like them very much, in fact, I had to constantly go to the bathroom. Then I bought another one and although I had no trouble swallowing them like the previous ones, the truth is that they caused me trouble to go to the bathroom.
I guess the third time is the charm because I started taking Prenatal Vitamin and DHA Supplement Kit Be Well Rounded! ™ healthy mama®, and I have had wonderful results. They are extremely easy to swallow, do not upset my stomach, and going to the bathroom is a breeze.
Just for the record, I am not a pharmacist, much less have a degree in the field of medicine, but from the point of view of a pregnant working mom, Be Well Rounded! ™ have many attributes that I like, such as being free of gluten, dyes, and the fact they contain a special blend of iron, which makes them much more tolerable, thereby reducing the possibility of constipation and mistreat your digestive system.
The kit contains two separate containers, one for the vitamins and the other for the DHA supplement. At first, it seemed like a lot to have to remember both pills, but then I read that having them separately makes the final product contain the highest quality and potency of vitamins and minerals, not to forget that they are smaller. I was convinced!
If you are looking for prenatal vitamins to help promote your baby’s brain development and help you be sure that your baby is growing with the vitamins and minerals she/he needs, then look no further. I totally recommend you to give Be Well Rounded! ™ from Healthy mama® a try, as you can get them at your local Target or Target.com and Walmart.com, and also they are priced at $29.99 with enough product for two months.
Let’s say you are covered in the vitamin department and do not feel the need to explore any other options, then you could probably beneficiate from Nip the Nausea!™ from healthy mama®; If you’ve never heard of them, let me introduce you to organic drops made with ginger and that can help you maintain composure during those times when you just want to hug the toilet.
These ‘candy-like’ drops are wonderful to have on hand, because although I have been very fortunate and have not battled nausea; the times I’ve experienced it, Nip the Nausea! ™ saved me.
I have them everywhere! I took some to work and I have them in my desk drawer just in case; I also have some in my purse and some more in my nightstand, because nausea usually attacks me in the middle of the night.
I love that are certified organic, they taste great and I can easily find them at Walmart, and for only $5.99 they offer me relief from such a common symptom during pregnancy that erroneously is called morning sickness, because it can strike you any time of the day.
These are not the first products I’ve tried mama® healthy, so if you want to know a bit more about the rest of the products I’ve used during my pregnancy, be sure to click here to learn more.
